
You can educate yourself -- then help friends, family,your congregation and the community -- by becoming an APPRISE volunteer.
The county's APPRISE program will train you in the intricasies of Medicare so you can help others make better decision on coverage and related subects. Volunteers need to have four hours a month to spend on the program.

It's time again to file for your property tax or rent rebate. Income limits are $35,000 for property owners and $15,000 for renters, but only HALF your Social Security income is counted. Rebates can reach $600. For a form click here.

As part of the national Faith in Action network, our services are available to all, regardless of religious affiliation. They’re provided by caring volunteers from six York County congregations, and others who support our mission.
Finding others to support us can be difficult. It may be hard to ask for help and sometimes, family and friends are facing their own challenges, or have moved away or died. But there are alternatives.
